iKas Global is leading the construction of the very first fire station for the city of Goma (North Kivu) — a critical infrastructure for the safety of a growing metropolis exposed to specific volcanic and urban risks.
Civil-security buildings impose unique functional requirements:
-
Bays with fast doors for emergency vehicles (fire trucks, ambulances)
-
Hose-drying masts, fire poles, dressing rooms
-
Dormitories, men/women locker rooms, on-duty catering
-
Command room with crisis telephony and GIS interfaces
-
Training tower or area (drills, height rescue)
-
Water reserves sized for intervention
We work in close consultation with unit commanders to integrate operational lessons-learned from the design phase.
